15-MINUTE CHICKEN SAUSAGE PASTA MEAL PREP BOWLS #HEALTHYFOOD #VEGETABLES

Kid, do I adore pasta. It was a standard staple in school since it was probably the least expensive dinner you could make!

Tragically, I swore off purchasing pasta a couple of years prior when I quit purchasing any wheat items. From that point forward, I've attempted each substitute known to man, beginning with vegetable substitutes like Zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash and broccoli slaw.

Presently, I've found the great universe of without gluten pasta substitutes and I couldn't love them more! Most quite, Banza and Trader Joe's lentil pasta.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box Banza pasta (or other pasta of choice)
  • 2 cups Rao’s Homemade pasta sauce (I buy the spicy kind. You can use any pasta sauce, homemade is even better!)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 big bag of frozen mixed vegetables
  • 4 fully-cooked chicken sausage links, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Cook pasta according to box directions until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, add olive oil to a skillet with vegetables and chicken sausage. Cook until vegetables are al dente.
  3. Divide pasta and vegetable mixture amongst 4-5 glass meal prep containers. Top each with ½ cup of pasta sauce.
  4. Cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.
  5. Microwave 1-2 minutes and enjoy!
