OREO BALLS #DESSERT #OREO

Good morning my friends! It truly is a decent morning for me, as I am in the midst of some recreation with my family in the excellent Dominican Republic.

It's been wonderful up until this point. The climate is warm and windy and the sun is sparkling. We are getting heaps of unwinding in, and it feels superb.

Before I left, I prepared a brisk cluster of these Oreo Balls so I could at present have something to impart to you, despite the fact that I'm away.

I picked this formula since it is so fast and simple, and you just need 3 basic fixings to make it! Additionally I feel like this site is somewhat light on treat formula alternatives (despite the fact that I do have an incredible marshmallow formula, an astounding how-to on making chocolate bark, and the most madly great custom made moose chomp formula!)

Be that as it may, on the off chance that you know somebody who is a devotee of treats and cream, you need to make them these Oreo truffles! My most established child LOVES them. They're an ideal equalization of profound, dull chocolate and velvety white chocolate, with a smart sweetening up and a delicate, tasty filling.

INGREDIENTS

14.3 ounces Oreo chocolate sandwich cookies (1 package)
8 ounces softened cream cheese (1 brick)
12.5 ounces white melting chocolate (1 package)

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Place the cookies in the bowl of a food processor* and pulse to fine crumbs.
  2. Transfer all but about 1 tablespoon of the crumbs to a large mixing bowl, and add the cream cheese.
  3. Mix until blended.
  4. Scoop 1-inch diameter balls, and roll between the palms to shape into smooth spheres.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator.
  6. Place the white chocolate in a bowl and microwave** in 30 second intervals, stirring, until smooth and melted.
  7. Coat the Oreo balls in the melted white chocolate, and sprinkle with reserved cookie crumbs to garnish.

NOTES
*If you don't have a food processor, just place the cookies in a zip-top bag and bash them to fine crumbs.
**Can also be melted over a double boiler. Heat about an inch of water in a small pot, place chocolate in a glass or metal bowl, and rest it on top. (The water should just barely be simmering, and the bottom of the bowl should not be touching the water.) Stir until smooth and melted.
